J-Jamboree 2005: invitation

The Lake Winnipesaukee Sailing Association (LWSA) and J/80 Fleet #1 cordially invite you to participate in the 18th Annual J-Jamboree Regatta on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. This fall's regatta is also designated as the J80 East Coast Championship. This long-standing event traditionally produces excellent winds, great race administration, lots of races, the famous Budweiser Beer Truck, and an outstanding barbecue. This year's event promises no less.

There is plenty of room to leave boats in the water Friday and Saturday evenings and people may sleep on the boats. Boats will be rafted, so bring plenty of fenders and line. Many motels and inns are booked this time of year so make your reservations early. See the Lodging page for some suggestions. We also may be able to arrange for some people to stay at private homes. On Saturday evening, the Winnipesaukee Yacht Club will host a barbecue featuring your choice of a lobster or steak dinner.
