Due to the events surrounding September 11th, the Jamboree was not held in 2001.

On Wednesday the weather forecast was for "rain all day" on Saturday and Showers on Sunday. Couple that with the J/80 NA's the week before and the result is only two traveling J/80's making the trip for the 13th annual J-Jamboree North. This is the fifth year with J/80's in the fleet. Thanks to the hardier J/24 fleet that produced nine traveling boats along with two local boats for their District Championships. [More...]

Saturday, 13 J/80's and 13 J/24's sailed through the remnants of hurricane Floyd, followed by near-calm conditions on Sunday for an exciting and interesting weekend of racing. [More...]

The Lake Winnipesaukee Sailing Association, Inc.'s (LWSA) eleventh annual J-Jamboree North Regatta was held on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire on the September 19th & 20th weekend. The participation of 3-J/22's, 12-J/24's, and a record 11 -J/80's made the event a great success. [More...]
